Our sophisticated, advanced design software allows us to engineer and design roof trusses for almost any shape or size conceivable. Combining the ingenuity of our design and engineering team with our strong 90mm ribbed C-sections, we can achieve vast span distances and openings without the need for extensive supporting columns and load-bearing walls.
Lightweight & Versatile Roof Trusses
All of our frame sections are rolled in our factory using the latest high precision roll forming machine. Our Steel meets Australian standards (AS1397) and our products carry a 50-year warranty*.
Like our wall frames, our roof trusses are supplied in one of two forms:
- Entirely manufactured and packaged ready for transportation; or
- In ready-to-assemble knockdown form for onsite assembly
Whichever way you choose, we are a smart choice offering a number of benefits and substantial cost savings.
Steel Wall Framing
Our Robust steel wall framing system makes the building process efficient and quicker without compromising structural and aesthetic outcomes. All of our frame sections are rolled in our factory using the latest high precision roll forming machine. Our Steel meets Australian standards (AS1397) and our products carry a 50-year warranty*.
Steel Floor Systems
Our unique suspended floor system is up to 50% lighter through the use of les materials than any other suspended floor system, installed in half the time with zero back propping and no compromise on structural integrity or floor strength.
Our floor system has been designed to provide strong structural strength yet be easy to install. It is a lightweight and available in depths between 250-450mm deep and capable of spanning up to 7m.
The system can be stepped down in the manufacturing process, avoiding the need for time consuming adjustments and stiffening on site. The step downs are engineered during the design process. The flooring system attaches to the top of the wall frames, making installation quick and simple and provides excellent load transfer.
The flooring system can be manufactured as a site-assembled cassette floor with in-built roll over restraint at truss ends. It can also be purposed for loadbearing unrestrained floors/ceilings for multi level applications.
Our roof truss connections and sections are thoroughly tested in a NATA accredited test laboratory and engineered to meet Australian building codes for cyclonic and non-cyclonic areas.
Our trusses can be engineered to suit any roof cladding material. The accuracy and reliability of our steel trusses make the onsite process more efficient and cost-effective by achieving quicker installation times and eliminating costly rectification and adjusting work.
Our point of difference begins with our in-house design team. Our team has extensive experience building with steel frame systems and have completed numerous projects using this technology. We use sophisticated software to design and detail the wall frames that are engineered to meet Australian building codes for cyclonic and non-cyclonic areas.
Once we complete the design process, the result is a wall system that is a combination of 90mm ribbed C-sections for the studs and 90mm U-sections for plates and nogging. The use of U-sections for the nogging adds rigidity to the frame while the ribbed C-section provides up to 20% additional strength.
